Boeing Shanghai Wins 737 PTF Work

Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services has won a contract to carry out passenger-to-freighter conversion work on a 737-400 for Russian carrier Volga Dnepr.

Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services has won a contract to carry out passenger-to-freighter conversion work on a 737-400 for Russian carrier Volga Dnepr.

The work includes a C-check and painting the aircraft, as well as the conversion which will be completed by specialist firm Aeronautical Engineers.

Volga Dnepr is Boeing Shanghai’s first customer from the Russia Central Asia region.

The MRO, which has performed five other 737 conversions for two customers, said the aircraft will be redelivered in Q1 2015.
