Bombardier has agreed a five-year extension to its authorised service facility (ASF) agreement with Australian MRO Hawker Pacific for maintenance on the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft.

Bombardier has agreed a five-year extension to its authorised service facility (ASF) agreement with Australian MRO Hawker Pacific for maintenance on the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft.

Under the terms of the contract, Hawker will remain a recognised ASF carrying out base maintenance and other services on all variants of the Q400, including modifications and upgrades.

Sydney-based Hawker has held ASF status with the Canadian aircraft manufacturer since 2007.

Todd Young, Bombardier’s vice-president and general manager of customer services, said the ASF was extended because of Hawker “consistently meeting customer needs” over an eight-year period.
