Bombardier Extends CRJ MRO Contract With PSA

Bombardier has signed a two-year extension to its agreement with US regional carrier PSA Airlines for heavy maintenance work on the airline’s fleet of CRJ aircraft.

Bombardier has signed a two-year extension to its agreement with US regional carrier PSA Airlines for heavy maintenance work on the airline’s fleet of CRJ aircraft.

Under the terms of the contract, Bombardier’s aircraft services division will provide MRO coverage on a total of 97 aircraft comprised of CRJ200s, CRJ700s and CRJ900s from its facility in West Virginia.

Ohio-based PSA operates the aircraft on regional routes on behalf of American Airlines under the American Eagle brand.

Kevin Reinhalter, vice-president of maintenance and engineering at PSA Airlines, said: “As the manufacturer of the aircraft, Bombardier’s expertise in maintaining our all-CRJ regional jet fleet helps us deliver on our commitment to transport satisfied customers to their destinations safely and on time.”
