CIT Expands A321 Order

Aircraft lessor CIT has placed a firm order for a further five A321ceos, doubling its most recent commitment for five of the aircraft in November 2014.

Aircraft lessor CIT has placed a firm order for a further five A321ceos, doubling its most recent commitment for five of the aircraft in November 2014.

The deal increases CIT’s total A320 family commitments to 205 aircraft, comprising of 155 current generation aircraft and 50 neos.

Jeff Knittel, CIT’s transportation and international finance president, said it has seen strong demand for both ceo and neo versions of A320 family aircraft with growth in passenger numbers encouraging airlines to deploy larger aircraft.
