Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) has signed an agreement to carry out line maintenance work on China Eastern Airlines operated aircraft servicing the Prague-Shanghai route.
The scope of work CSAT will provide the carrier with includes inspections and assistance to the crew and ground personnel with their duties on apron areas.
The new contract further expands the MRO’s presence in China, following recent contract wins with Hainan Airlines and Sichuan Airlines.
Agreed services are for an unlimited amount of time with work due to begin this week on A330 aircraft before eventually expanding to China Eastern’s 767 and 777 aircraft.
Václav Řehoř, chairman of CSAT parent group Czech Aeroholding, said: “The co-operation with another Chinese airline proves that CSAT provides quality work with an emphasis on pursuing high safety standards, flexible pro-client approach and adherence to deadlines.”
