Delta TechOps To Expand Landing Gear Offering

US airline MRO Delta TechOps is considering further expanding its portfolio of services for landing gear. In the past year, the maintenance provider has invested in new inventory enabling it to offer exchanges on landing gear for 737NG, 757 and 767 aircraft. The firm also offers services on landing gear on MD88/90 aircraft, and is exploring expanding its offering to more aircraft types next year. The MRO has also confirmed that it has further extended long-running support contracts with Latin American carrier GOL and US regional carrier Sun Country Airlines. In 2011, Delta TechOps signed a five-year deal with GOL, with a five-year extension option, to provide engine overhauls on at least 50 per cent of the carrier’s CFM56-7 engines and maintenance services for components on its fleet of 737NGs.
