Delta TechOps Signs Virgin Australia CFM56-7B MRO Contract

Delta TechOps has signed a 13-year contract with Virgin Australia to perform MRO services on the CFM56-7B engines powering its fleet of 737s.

Delta TechOps has signed a 13-year contract with Virgin Australia to perform MRO services on the CFM56-7B engines powering its fleet of 737s.

The Atlanta-based firm said that under the terms of the contract, it will collaborate with Virgin Australia on engineering, reliability and other maintenance-related activities.

Gary Hammes, Virgin Australia’s chief operating officer, said: “We constantly challenge ourselves to think differently so we are pleased to be working with Delta TechOps who have a track record of innovation as they service one of the world’s most successful airlines.”
