Delta TechOps has signed a five-year component MRO contract with Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet covering its fleet of four 767-300 aircraft.

The US MRO will provide maintenance-per-flight-hour support for the WestJet aircraft, covering component services for hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics, fuel and oil systems on the aircraft. Atlanta-based Delta TechOps said it will also provide integrated inventory support and main base kit coverage for the airline.

Jack Arehart, president of MRO services at Delta TechOps, said given its experience working with 767s, the MRO will look to “exceed” WestJet’s expectations.
