Duncan Aviation recently used a unique paint scheme on a Gulfstream GV, branding it "SEXYjet."
The aircraft— N888XY—is managed by Metropolitan Aviation, and is a recent addition to the company's charter fleet. The aircraft is now available for international- and domestic-charter reservations.
The owner’s personal designer collaborated with Duncan Aviation completions designers to create an original concept applicable to aviation. The design meets FAA requirements including registration numbers, placarding and paint-reflectance values.
The two-tone aesthetic of the project used two primary paint systems: Sherwin Williams satin black base with satin clear coat, and Axalta Chromalusion’s “color-changing” base-coat color, called "Perfect Jade," that was finished with a gloss clear coat.
Below is a hyperlapse of Duncan Aviation's paint application.
