Precision Aircraft Solutions (PAS), a US-based firm specialising in aircraft modifications, has been approved by EASA to convert 757-200 aircraft with winglets from passenger to freighter configurations.

Precision Aircraft Solutions (PAS), a US-based firm specialising in aircraft modifications, has been approved by EASA to convert 757-200 aircraft with winglets from passenger to freighter configurations.

According to Boeing, the addition of blended winglets on a 757 can improve fuel burn rates by up to 5 per cent. PAS has converted 41 aircraft since its launch in 2001 and offers a 15-pallet freighter conversion on the 757-200.
