FACC Enters Into MRO Market

Austrian lightweight composite component supplier FACC is set to offer airlines and MRO companies repairs on its components and systems.

Austrian lightweight composite component supplier FACC is set to offer airlines and MRO companies repairs on its components and systems.

FACC, which has developed and produced composite components and systems for more than 25 years, will provide services on sharklets; winglets; spoilers; flap track fairings; flaps and ram air inlets for a number of Airbus, Boeing and Embraer aircraft.

FACC will provide the services from its Wichita, US facility as well as its main factory in Austria.

FACC has held Part 145 approval from EASA, TCCA and the FAA for a number of years and last year gained EASA Part 21-J design organisation approval.
