Flag carrier Finnair has signed an exclusive, 12-year contract with International Aero Engines (IAE) to maintain 10 V2500 engines

Flag carrier Finnair has signed an exclusive, 12-year contract with International Aero Engines (IAE) – a consortium including Pratt & Whitney, Japanese Aero Engines Corporation and MTU Aero Engines – to maintain 10 V2500 engines which power five of its fleet of A321 aircraft.

The rate-per-flight-hour deal is provided under IAE’s “V Services” brand and mean that Finnair’s engines will qualify for “Pure-V” status.
