Finnair, SR Technics Sign Heavy Maintenance Contract

SR Technics has won a contract with Finnair for the provision of heavy maintenance checks, including paint work on two of the airline’s A320s. The tasks will be conducted at the MRO’s centre of excellence for narrowbody aircraft maintenance in Malta; the first aircraft has already been inducted. The new deal follows the 10-year contract already in place with SR Technics, signed in July 2012, for CFM56 engine maintenance, plus integrated component services (ICS) support for the airline’s Airbus and Embraer fleet.
