FL Technics Expands Into Indonesia

Eastern European MRO FL Technics is to open a base maintenance facility at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Indonesia, its first heavy maintenance site outside Lithuania.

Eastern European MRO FL Technics is to open a base maintenance facility at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Indonesia, its first heavy maintenance site outside Lithuania.

The MRO has rented an 8,400m2 hangar at the airport and will operate it for at least five years, providing letter checks, interior refurbishment services, NDT inspections, composite and structural repairs and spare parts supply.

Under the terms of the contract with the Indonesian government, FL Technics and its partners will operate the site via an established Indonesian company.

The MRO facility will launch offering base maintenance services for A320 aircraft. When the site it is fully operational it will employ more than 150 engineers and technicians.
