Lithuanian MRO FL Technics has entered into a distribution agreement with aircraft interior plastics manufacturer Flitetec.
Under the terms of the contract, FL Technics will represent the UK-based company in a total of 21 countries across Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS territories.
It will provide aircraft operators and maintenance providers with non-structural vacuum formed plastic mouldings and assemblies for passenger and crew seats, covers, work stations, interiors screens and panels.
Julius Bogusevicius, head of the components and materials sales department at FL Technics, said the partnership was driven by customer demand for Flitetec products.
“The current backlog for aircraft seating from the various manufacturers is close to an all-time high, thus the need for alternative quality providers is also on an upward trend.”
FL Technics already has similar distribution partnerships in place, working on behalf of companies including HEICO, Aviointeriors, Dedienne Aerospace and Semmco.
