Spanish regional carrier Air Nostrum has signed a 10-year component management contract with Fokker covering its fleet of CRJ aircraft.

Fokker will provide MRO and logistics services supporting Air Nostrum’s 12 CRJ200s, nine CRJ900 and 10 CRJ1000 aircraft under its ABACUS programme, which combines component repair, inventory leases and guaranteed parts availability.

Under the deal Air Nostrum will have access to exchange pools and 24/7 AOG support.

The contract will also cover the airline’s 20 new CRJ1000 aircraft that will be phased in next year.

The new deal comes less than a month after Fokker announced it was expanding its ABACUS programme to support CRJ aircraft.
