Singapore-based Fokker Services Asia has been granted European Aviation Safety Agency and FAA approval for its component repair shop and is rolling out an enterprise resource planning system that will link it to sister locations.

The component shop, part of a new heavy maintenance facility opened in February 2012, focuses on regional aircraft avionics, hydraulics and limited structural maintenance.

The facility also helps Fokker support ATR operators as part of the manufacturer’s authorized service provider network.

Fokker Services Asia is now running the Pentagon 2000SQL ERP system to support both its heavy maintenance and component work. The rollout, announced earlier this year, is part of Fokker’s effort to implement the system in all of its Fokker Services locations.
