MRO and component supplier GA Telesis has become the 68th member of the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association.

GA Telesis joins ranks with firms from across the aircraft supply chain including Alcoa, Boeing, Bombardier, Honeywell and KLM UK Engineering.

Abdol Moabery, president and CEO of GA Telesis, said: “Aircraft fleet retirements will grow exponentially in the coming 20 years. Engaging in environmentally sound practices, whether overhauling airframe and engine components for return to extended serviceability or ensuring proper disposition of useful materials to be made into new products is consistent with our performance and culture.”

Last week GA Telesis announced a deal with Boeing that will see it supply the OEM's PART portal with repaired and overhauled components.
