GA Telesis has commenced with a teardown programme on an A300-600 aircraft.

The Florida-headquartered firm said the disassembly project will provide rotables for the company’s iGEAR flight hour programme offerings, as well as its customer base via its sales teams and Live AOG centres.

Jason Reed, president of GA Telesis’ component solutions group, said the expansion into A300 aircraft was driven by strong customer demand for its material to become part of the company’s daily inventory offering.

The A300-600 is operated by a number of cargo carriers including Air Hong Kong, FedEx and UPS.
