GA Telesis To Teardown Ex-Alitalia A321

GA Telesis has purchased six A321s, equipped with CFM56-5B engines, last operated by Alitalia.

The firm has already taken delivery of the first aircraft, MSN 434, and the remaining jets will be delivered through the end of 2014.

MSN 434 was delivered to Kemble in the UK where it will enter GA Telesis’ disassembly line. The engines are to be overhauled by GA Telesis Engine Services in Helsinki, Finland and the parts removed from the aircraft will be repaired by OEMs, GA Telesis’s Component Repair Group Southeast and its Composite Repair Group before being distributed.
