GE Aviation Wales Celebrates 20 Years Of BA Engine Overhauls

GE Aviation Wales has celebrated 20 years of overhauling engines for British Airways (BA). Based in Nantgarw at a 1.2 million ft2 facility, the company services a range of engines for the airline, including the CFM56 for 737 and A320 aircraft, the GE90 powering 777s and the RB211 on 747 and 767s. GE Aviation Wales has completed 1,400 RB211 shop visits since 1992.
