Bahrain carrier Gulf Air has extended its contract with AFI KLM E&M for maintenance of the auxiliary power units (APUs) on its fleet of six A330 aircraft.

The services covered by the contract will be provided by EPCOR, AFI KLM E&M’s subsidiary specialising in APU support.

The extended agreement follows the recent signing of a component support contract between the two parties on its A320 and A330 fleets.

Fabrice Defrance, AFI KLM E&M SVP commercial, said: “It is in the framework of this very broad-based relationship that we have now extended the existing APU support contract.”
