HAECO Americas to Exit US Line Maintenance Services, Focus on MRO, Cabin Services

HAECO Americas has confirmed plans to transition out of its US line maintenance activities and focus on its MRO and cabin solutions businesses.

The move away from line maintenance services was announced earlier today (October 6). HAECO said it will end operations at most locations by the end of this year, but its Greensboro, NC-headquarters will remain operating.

All non-US maintenance locations will remain in service. The firm has sought to grow its MRO services and cabin solutions arms over the summer.

In August, HAECO Americas confirmed the expansion of its MRO division through the building of a new $60m facility at Greensboro Piedmont Triad International Airport, scheduled for a Q4 2017.

Its cabin arm is transitioning into a larger manufacturing facility in High Point, NC to accommodate production of a full line of aircraft interior products.
