HAECO PM Expands BTC Parts Contract

HAECO Parts Manufacturing (HAECO PM) has signed a long-term agreement with Boeing Tianjin Composites (BTC) for the manufacture of structural parts on Boeing commercial aircraft.

HAECO Parts Manufacturing (HAECO PM) has signed a long-term agreement with Boeing Tianjin Composites (BTC) for the manufacture of structural parts on Boeing commercial aircraft.

Expanding on an existing cooperation between the parties which started in January 2015, HAECO’s airframe parts business will cover a new group of part numbers for the Boeing subsidiary, which produces primary structure, secondary structure and interiors aerospace composite components for a number of Boeing aircraft type including the 787.

Xiamen-based HAECO PM’s capabilities include design, build-to-print fabrication, and testing services for airframe parts and spares.

Summit Chan, CEO of HAECO Xiamen, described the agreement as an “important milestone” for the firm as it continues to grow its aviation parts manufacturing business.
