HAECO Wins Cathay Pacific Landing Gear Support Contract

Taikoo (Xiamen) Landing Gear Services (HAECO Landing Gear Services), the repair and overhaul division of HAECO Group, has signed a 10-year agreement with Cathay Pacific Airways covering their fleet of 53 777-300ER aircraft.

The contract, which commences with the Hong Kong carrier this month, covers an array of MRO support services for the Boeing aircraft’s landing gear and associated components.

HAECO Landing Gear Services, located near Gaoqi International Airport in Xiamen, China, holds landing gear overhaul capabilities for a number of Boeing aircraft, including classic and newer versions of the 737, 747, 757, 767 and the 777.

It also has approvals for Airbus aircraft including the A318, A319 and A320 installation level landing gear.

These are along with services for non-landing gear parts including non-destructive inspection, grinding, shot peening, plating and painting.
