HAITEC Aircraft Maintenance has confirmed plans to open a line maintenance station at Nuremberg Airport in early November 2016.

Once operational, low-cost carrier SunExpress Deutschland will be the facility’s first customer, with HAITEC carrying out line maintenance on its fleet of 15 737-800 aircraft along with providing AOG support.

“It is HAITEC’s strategy and part of our customer care programme to establish line maintenance stations wherever possible and feasible for our customers,” said HAITEC CEO Frank Rott.

“We will continue to seize any opportunity to expand our services in Nuremberg to additional airlines operating diverse aircraft types,” he added.

Rott also confirmed the German firm is in discussions to open line maintenance stations at other airports across the world.
