HAITEC Opens Frankfurt Line Station

German maintenance specialist HAITEC has opened a new line maintenance support station at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport.

The 22,000m2 station opened this month at Germany’s largest airport, and HAITEC said it will play an important role in its growth strategy.

More than 400 employees will work at the site, with the majority in technical and engineering roles.

The Frankfurt facility takes the number of Hahn line stations to seven. The MRO has expanded its services portfolio in the past few years – in 2016 it received the EASA Part-147 approval and also offers A320 B1 CFM56 type training courses.

Gereon Arens, CEO of HAITEC, said: “By launching our line maintenance operations and supporting new customers at Frankfurt, HAITEC has achieved a major goal.”
