Haitec Aircraft Maintenance has signed a service agreement to provide line and base maintenance services on the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft.
Announced on Oct. 9, the independent MRO said the services, which include spare parts, training, documentation and engineering support, are the result of it gaining EASA Part-145 approval from the German Federal Aviation Authority.
Haitec said that all maintenance services to SSJ100 operators will be carried out at two facilities in Erfurt and Hahn, along with some line work being performed at selected outstations.
Stefano Marazzani, CEO of SuperJet International, the joint venture established between Leonardo-Finmeccanica and Sukhoi Holding to sell the aircraft, said: “We are confident that this partnership will smooth access to flexible maintenance services to SSJ100 operators.”
Haitec joins the likes of Lithuania’s FL Technics and the maintenance division of Mexican carrier Interjet on the list of overseas providers in the SSJ100 MRO network.
The largest operator of the SSJ100, which has been in the global fleet since 2011, is Russia’s Aeroflot, which currently flies 30 of the regional jets.
