Honeywell Licenses Wuhan Hangda For MRO Parts Services

Honeywell has signed a licensing agreement with Wuhan Hangda to service its aircraft parts in China.

Honeywell has signed a licensing agreement with Wuhan Hangda to service its aircraft parts in China.

Under the terms of the five-year contract, Wuhan will offer MRO services for pneumatic and mechanical parts on Boeing aircraft types along with the A320 and A330.

Honeywell said its tie-up with Wuhan will give aircraft operators increased reliability by using 100 per cent original equipment parts, while access to the OEM’s technical support and expertise will also improve the quality and reliability of the Chinese firm’s repair services.

“As aircraft fleets in China and Asia Pacific continue to see robust growth, Honeywell is confident in the market demand for MRO services in the region,” said Brian Davis, Honeywell Aerospace’s vice-president for airlines in the Asia-Pacific region.

Currently the largest third-party maintenance provider in China, Wuhan specialises in aircraft parts maintenance, test equipment development and manufacturing.
