Aircraft engine and components specialist ITP has signed a contract with Philippines carrier Cebu Pacific to renew its support services for the PW127M turboprop engines powering its fleet of ATR 72-500 and 72-600 fleets.

The agreement covers 24 of the aircraft in total with an estimated duration of 12 years.

The new deal further grows the cooperation between the parties, with Spanish firm ITP having provided MRO services to the airline for the past seven years.

ITP will provide customer support from its representative office in Singapore, while the PW100 engines will be repaired at its facilities in Ajalvir, Spain.

"We believe that this partnership will enable us to further improve our aircraft reliability and performance while operating within one of the more challenging and demanding environments in Southeast Asia,” said Lance Gokongwei, president and CEO of Cebu Pacific.
