Flag carrier Japan Airlines (JAL) has renewed its LLP supply agreement with TES Aviation covering the CF6 engines which power its fleet of 767 aircraft.

Under the contract UK-based TES Aviation will provide materials for around 15 shop visits which will be performed by the airline's maintenance arm JAL Engineering.

The carrier, which is headquarted in Tokyo, operates a total of 47 767s, which are a combination of leased and owned aircraft.

JAL previously worked with TES during the phase out of its 747 fleet in 2011, with TES managing the sale of parts from the aircraft’s engines and sub-time leases.
