MRO and aircraft management company Jet Aviation has been awarded parts manufacturer approval (PMA) from the FAA to manufacture and sell components from its St. Louis facility.

The PMA approval means the firm can manufacture and stock parts that are needed frequently and will be able to sell them to customers who can install the parts themselves.

Stan Wierciszewski, the firm’s senior manager for quality, said the PMA approval will result in reduced downtime and costs for customers and suppliers.

The firm, based at St. Louis airport, holds capabilities including design, engineering, cabinetry, upholstery, composites, avionics, sheet metal, and paint work.
