Jetstar Establishes Melbourne 787 Facilities

The Qantas Group has established new maintenance and training facilities in Melbourne for Jetstar Airways as the airline prepares to take delivery of its first 787 by the end of September. A 787 flight simulator will be among equipment installed at the group’s flight training centre at its Airport West facility as part of the $100m investment. The Qantas Group said up to 100 new jobs would be created.
