KG Aircraft Rotables Buys Two 737s for Part Out

Spare parts specialist KG Aircraft Rotables has bought two CFM56-7B powered 737-800 aircraft for part out (MSN 30494 & MSN 30495).

Spare parts specialist KG Aircraft Rotables has bought two CFM56-7B powered 737-800 aircraft for part out (MSN 30494 & MSN 30495).

The firm, headquartered in Dublin and with a stock facility at East Midlands Airport in the UK, said work on both aircraft will begin at the end of this month at eCube Solutions in St. Athan, Wales.

The aircraft are scheduled to arrive at the site in Wales on November 23.

As part of the teardown schedule, inventory removed from the aircraft will be added to KG Aircraft Rotables’ existing component stock for 737NG, A320, A330 and A340 aircraft in the both the UK and the U.S.

KG Aircraft Rotables said engines and landing gear from the Boeing narrowbodies will be made available for lease or sale.
