LHT And SAEI Sign MoU For Joint Component MRO Services

Lufthansa Technik (LHT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) to enter into a joint component services partnership.

Lufthansa Technik (LHT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) to enter into a joint component services partnership.

Under the terms of the agreement announced at the Dubai Airshow on Sunday (November 8), LHT will assist the MRO division of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) with component maintenance for its A320 and A330 fleet.

The German firm will also support SAEI in developing MRO capabilities for Airbus and Boeing aircraft at its facilities in Jeddah.

Nader Khalawi, CEO of SAEI, said: “Our strategic partnership with Lufthansa Technik supports our growth plans especially that SAEI has announced the launch of the largest MRO facility in the Middle East.”
