LHT To Provide Landing Gear Overhauls On Emirates 777s

Emirates has contracted Lufthansa Technik (LHT) to overhaul the landing gear of 13 of its 777 aircraft fleet.

Emirates has contracted Lufthansa Technik (LHT) to overhaul the landing gear of 13 of its 777 aircraft fleet.

Under the terms of the five-year agreement, the German MRO will cover aircraft comprised of the -200ER and -300 aircraft type.

The work will be carried out by LHT’s landing gear services division at its facility in London.

Adel Al Redha, Emirates' executive vice-president and chief operations officer, said: “In order to maintain the world's largest 777 fleet, Emirates expects the highest levels of reliability and quality from our suppliers.

LHT continues to fulfil such expectations and bring a robust supply chain.”
