LHT Wins Component Contract For EVA And EGAT

Taiwan-based EVA Air has chosen German MRO Lufthansa Technik (LHT) to provide component support for its fleet of 18 777-300ER and 11 A330-200 aircraft, as well as the A330-300s it has on order.

Taiwan-based EVA Air has chosen German MRO Lufthansa Technik (LHT) to provide component support for its fleet of 18 777-300ER and 11 A330-200 aircraft, as well as the A330-300s it has on order.

The long-term contract also covers the provision of support to EVA’s MRO subsidiary EGAT, with LHT providing material for 30 777-300ER aircraft in total.

The support deal covers the overhaul of components and engineering services in addition to providing access to LHT’s material warehouse and pool in Singapore.

LHT has provided MRO services for EVA Air for more than 10 years, including an ongoing contract for the airline’s fleet of A321 and 747 aircraft.
