Liebherr-Aerospace To Overhaul Landing Gears On Flybe-Operated E-Jets

Work on the aircraft will be carried out at Liebherr's facility in Germany.

Liebherr-Aerospace has signed an agreement with UK regional airline Flybe to overhaul the main and nose landing gear systems on its Embraer 175 and 195 aircraft.

The agreement was signed earlier this month by both parties and covers approximately 20 aircraft in Flybe’s fleet.

Liebherr-Aerospace will carry out all overhaul activities at its facility in Lindenberg, Germany.

Luke Farajallah, COO & accountable manager at Flybe, said: “With Flybe’s primary focus on safety and compliance, we are happy to have found a reliable service provider with the OEM Liebherr-Aerospace for our Embraer landing gear overhaul campaign. They are flexible, their actions are transparent and they understand what we require.”
