MAEL Eextends FAA Approval

UK-based Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has extended its FAA approval to carry out base maintenance on US- registered aircraft at its Birmingham and Copenhagen facilities.

UK-based Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has extended its FAA approval to carry out base maintenance on US-registered aircraft at its Birmingham and Copenhagen facilities.

As a result of the extension, the FAA authorisation now covers four of its European facilities, including sites in Luton and Manchester.

Ian Bartholomew, managing director for MAEL, said the approval will support its plans to venture into new markets and expand its customer base from North America.
