Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has expanded its contract with French airline La Compagnie to include airframe heavy maintenance on its 757-200ER aircraft.

Under the terms of the extended agreement, MAEL will carry out a C-check on the aircraft at its MRO facility at London Luton Airport.

MAEL currently supports La Compagnie’s transatlantic operation with full line maintenance services from its Luton headquarters, where the carrier operates the all business class 757.

Yann Poudoulec, director general at La Compagnie, said: “Receiving excellent line maintenance services from Monarch Aircraft Engineering coupled with their location at London Luton makes them the perfect MRO provider for our heavy maintenance requirements.”
