MAEL To Maintain AirExplore 737s

UK-based Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has won an MRO contract with Slovakian charter carrier AirExplore.

UK-based Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has won an MRO contract with Slovakian charter carrier AirExplore.

Under the agreement MAEL will carry out line maintenance, up to and including A-checks, on the carrier’s two 737-800 at MAEL’s purpose-built facility at Birmingham Airport.

Brataslava-based AirExplore operates a fleet of two 737-800 and four 737-400 aircraft on charter and wet lease to airlines including Monarch.
