MAEL Wins Shaheen Line Maintenance Contract

UK-based Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has signed a line maintenance technical handling agreement with Pakistani carrier Shaheen Air International for its fleet of A330 aircraft.

UK-based Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has signed a line maintenance technical handling agreement with Pakistani carrier Shaheen Air International for its fleet of A330 aircraft.

Under the terms of the agreement, Monarch’s engineering division will carry out maintenance on the aircraft type from its facility at Manchester Airport.

The Karachi-headquartered airline commenced flights to the airport last Wednesday (March 16).

Neil Kirby, sales manager at MAEL, said: “We welcome Shaheen Air International to our growing portfolio of line maintenance customers and look forward to supporting this operation.”
