Estonia-based Magnetic MRO is launching a portfolio of new asset management services, including aircraft acquisition and lease management services.
The MRO has already embarked on its first asset management contract, acquiring an A321 for part-out on behalf of a group of private investors.
The aircraft is to be disassembled in the US, with the storage, trading and exchange of parts to be managed by Magnetic’s European operations.
The MRO now offers lease transition services, green-life rebuilds and end-of-life management for aircraft and engines.
Jonas Butatutis CEO Magnetic MRO said the expansion of services was an important step for the company and allowed it to “create value in every step of economic lifecycle of aviation asset”.
Butatutis also confirmed that company had a number of A320 and 737NG asset management projects agreed for completion this year.
