Estonian provider Magnetic MRO has received two new quality approvals from the International Standards Organization (ISO).

Estonian provider Magnetic MRO has received two new quality approvals from the International Standards Organization (ISO).

The firm was granted ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certificates by ISO following its reaching of required standards set by the body last month for delivering effective quality management systems.

The first approval covers Magnetic’s spare parts trading and asset management services, while the latter certificate is for aircraft maintenance and painting activities including end-of-life asset management and tear downs.

Risto Mäeots, COO of Magnetic MRO, said: “In aviation most of the activities are well regulated by the authorities, therefore, with the expansion of our service portfolio, we had to keep equally high standards in the activities which are not falling under Aviation Safety Authorities.”
