Bombardier has extended its heavy maintenance contract with Mesa Air which covers the airline’s fleet of CRJ700 and CRJ900 aircraft.

Bombardier has extended its heavy maintenance contract with Mesa Air which covers the airline’s fleet of CRJ700 and CRJ900 aircraft.

The agreement, which will run until 2020, will see Bombardier perform all heavy MRO tasks at three of its service centres in the US.

Mesa’s operational fleet includes 57 CRJ900s and 20 CRJ700s, with the airline set to add seven new CRJ900s after placing a firm order worth $326m in March.
