Work on the flag carrier’s narrowbodies will be carried out from Messier-Bugatti-Dowty’s facility in Singapore.

The new agreement builds on existing cooperations between the parties, with UK-headquartered Messier-Bugatti-Dowty carrying out landing gear MRO on eight Vietnam-operated 777s since 2012 and five A321s in 2014.

Vincent Mascré, CEO, of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, said: “This latest contract consolidates our long-standing partnership with Vietnam Airlines and reflects our sustained commitment to delivering the highest and competitive level of services, quality and performance expected by our customers.”
