Mexicana MRO Services Joins ALTA

Mexican maintenance provider becomes latest member of regional airline members group.

Mexicana MRO Services has gained affiliate membership to the Latin America and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) and becomes the first solely MRO-focused company to join the airline body.

The Mexico City-headquartered maintenance specialist will join other airline-related organizations in the Latin America and Caribbean region in working together on aviation industry initiatives.

“We have participated in various events of this important association and I am convinced that as part of ALTA we will have many new business opportunities,” said MRO Services CEO Marcos Rosaes.

The MRO provider has capabilities including heavy maintenance, line services, painting, components repair, engineering and training.

It also holds a total of 19 certifications worldwide, including approvals from the FAA, EASA and Mexico’s DGAC.
