So-called middle-of-the-market (MOM) aircraft sales are forecast to be worth nearly $250 billion at retail prices during the next 10 years, according to Aviation Week’s 2016 Commercial forecast.

So-called middle-of-the-market (MOM) aircraft sales are forecast to be worth nearly $250 billion at retail prices during the next 10 years, according to Aviation Week’s 2016 Commercial forecast.  While not predicting a new widebody entrant, current production aircraft to meet this demand will be led regionally by North America, with $91 billion worth of deliveries, followed by the Asia-Pacific region with $62 billion.
