Monarch extends Norwegian 737 support

Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has signed an agreement with budget carrier Norwegian to provide line maintenance support services on its 737 aircraft at airports in Birmingham and Manchester.

Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has signed an agreement with budget carrier Norwegian to provide line maintenance support services on its 737 aircraft at airports in Birmingham and Manchester.

The contract, which will be ongoing, expands on the existing line maintenance services MAEL carries out on Norwegian 737s located at London Gatwick Airport.

Erik Nordby, technical director of Norwegian, said: “This strategic partnership with Monarch Aircraft Engineering is critical to our business in supporting our operations from Birmingham and Manchester.”
