MOOG reports 20% boost in aftermarket sales

Components manufacturer MOOG has confirmed that revenue from its sale of parts to the aftermarket sector has increased 20% year on year.

Components manufacturer MOOG has confirmed that revenue from its sale of parts to the aftermarket sector has increased 20% year on year.

In publishing its Q3 results the US firm confirmed that aftermarket sales hit $34 million in the last quarter, as a result of demand for 787 spares.

The US firm also revealed that sales to commercial aircraft OEMs leapt 25% on 2013 figures for the quarter to $147m. MOOG confirmed that sales of products to Boeing increased 39% and sales to Airbus were up 21%.
